Sandy beaches, watersports, shops and cafes overlooking the Red Sea with a uniquely bohemian atmosphere
A large crack formed in the sea bed. As you swim through it the light penetrates through the crack creating lovely shades of blue. An exhilarating dive for Advanced Open Water divers only.
A steep chimney type descent starts this dive off, followed by a gentle swim along the reef wall which is covered in 'elephant ear' corals.
A magical sandy bottom ideal for new and experienced divers. Watch the eels waft around in the mild currents, like grass in the wind.
With its roots in the Arabic word for ‘gold’ Dahab is named after its stunning beaches. Much more relaxed and laid back than Sharm, it is a perfect destination for those wishing to escape the crowds while still getting in some world class diving. Dahab has two of our favourite dive sites: the legendary Canyon and the Blue Hole. The topography is what makes these dive sites stand out, the light reflecting through the roof of the Canyon causing a rainbow of colours is one that is not to be missed!
Most of the diving in Dahab is from the shore, making it a good option for new divers. The sites are accessed by a short ride along the shore by jeep, camel or pick-up truck and all you have to do is gear up at the beach and start your dive.
Great beaches, water sports, shops and cafes overlooking the Red Sea with a uniquely bohemian atmosphere.
